about

Police brutality.

"On April 23, 1:00 am, Poligraf, was raided by the RA police force without any legal grounds. Everyone at the club was thrown down on the floor, treated like criminals, and taken to the police department against their will. Some of our staff and visitors were brutally beaten up and even strip-searched at the police department. The brutality that unfolded at our club is beyond comprehension and completely unacceptable. We demand justice for everyone who has been hurt and traumatized by this egregious violation of our rights.

The raid on our club is an attack on Poligraf and the entire club community. We are all part of a more significant cultural and creative industry under threat. This is not just about our right to dance and express ourselves but about the very core of our society. We are part of a community that fosters creativity, diversity, and inclusivity. We provide a space for people to come together, connect, and share their experiences. Our club creates a vibrant and dynamic cultural scene that enriches our society and contributes to our economy.

However, now, we are under attack. The forces that seek to suppress our way of life threaten our existence. We are being framed for merely being ourselves. They seek to silence our voices, stifle our creativity, and impose their narrow-minded worldview on us. We cannot allow this to happen.

We need the support of other institutions, artists, musicians, writers, and anyone who values creativity and diversity, which has felt the magic at the club. We need to come together and speak out against this gross injustice. We call upon all those who share our values to stand with us. We ask all bars, clubs, and other spaces, the people in our local and international community, to rise, lend your support, raise your voice, and demand change. Sign the petition in our bio and spread the word. We need your help defending our community and protecting our human right to create, dance, and express ourselves. We will announce our further actions very soon, and all of us will rave inside or outside the sealed doors of Poligraf.

We must work together to create a world where diversity and creativity are celebrated, not attacked. Power to the dancers, power to everyone who fights and demands a better future for us all. This is our fight against oligarchy, discrimination, and the monopolization of the industry and the community. We will not let the police state or any other entity tear us apart. We demand that Poligraf’s doors open that have been illegally sealed.

We will inform all of you about our further actions shortly."
